EDGE CLASS · CELEBRITY CRUISES
Celebrity Apex
The ship people describe as a design hotel that happens to float.
WHY THIS SHIP
We chose Apex on purpose.
Edge-class ships were drawn by Kelly Hoppen and Tom Wright; the architect behind the Burj Al Arab, and it shows in every room. The public spaces are genuinely beautiful rather than merely large. The service is a step above. And critically for us: Apex has the venues we need to throw four private parties without ever feeling like we've taken over someone else's cruise.
WHY CELEBRITY?
The Magic Carpet
A cantilevered lounge the size of a tennis court that moves up and down the starboard side of the ship — a bar on one deck, a restaurant on another, a tender platform at the waterline. There is nothing else like it at sea.
The Rooftop Garden
An outdoor living room on the top deck designed by Tom Wright, with sculptural trees, a bar, and one of the best sunset views on the ship.
Infinite Verandas
Touch a button and the top half of your window drops, turning the entire stateroom into open-air veranda. It's the single best thing about an Edge-class cabin, and both our Edge Veranda and Edge Single staterooms have it.
The Solarium
A glass-domed, adults-only pool sanctuary — quiet all week, and the site of our signature Waves of Pride pool party on one very good night.
DINING
Four main restaurants. No fixed seating.
Edge-class ships replaced the single main dining room with four distinct restaurants; Mediterranean, Italian, French and New American, all included in your fare, all available on your schedule. Plus the Oceanview Café, Eden Café, room service and a specialty collection if you want to book something special.
